What is your dream?

When I was a little girl, it seemed that the world was full of possibility. As I got older, it seemed that people left and right lost heart to that. I read a quote the other day that was painful to read: “When you’re young they tell you to go after your dreams, but when you’re older they act like you’re crazy when you do.”

I almost got sucked into that mindset, but, gratefully, a fire was lit inside of me to rekindle the dreams I know to be true. The dreams that are better with YOU.

I know what you might be thinking, ‘Becka, you don’t know me.’ You’re right, I don’t… yet.

My dream is a world where children are nurtured and loved. There are a lot of wonderful people connecting children with their dreams, and this company aims to be one of them. Through your generosity in buying a hat, we are empowered to connect children of limited means to footpaths of their goals.

I was sick as a little girl, and when I was well my dream was to always be outside with friends. I still cherish those friends who would heed my literal call out into the neighborhood asking if anyone wanted to go to the park. I still cherish the sweet voice of my son asking for the same.

The beauty of connectivity happens on the doorstep of adventure. So my question to you is two fold: What is your dream? And, would you do me the honor of sharing it with me?
